Porto Mela Taverna Dafni Beach

The taverna is situated within the National Marine Park, where you will see small wooden cages on the beach where the turtles have laid their eggs. you must not go near them, but if you are lucky at the right time of the year, you may see the baby turtles hatch and watch them head for the water edge. it is a wonderful sight.  The taverna has been in operation by the same family for over 25 years. It is a very laid-back place where you can relax and unwind The cuisine is traditional Greek, with many starters, beautiful fish, meat and vegetarian food served with the added bonus of freshly baked bread You can see it being baked in the traditional wood oven, it is definitely the best bread in the area. If you wish to eat at the taverna, you can use the sunbeds free of charge. If you want to relax, this is the place to be. You will feel so rested after a visit here.
