Our journey to the enchanting island of Kefalonia and the mythical Ithaca will begin at 08:00 AM from Zakynthos Town Port. Upon arriving in Kefalonia, our first stop will be for a refreshing swim at a hidden gem – a stunning beach surrounded by striking white cliffs and lush greenery.

Next, we’ll head to the charming town of Sami, where you can choose to relax with a coffee and take a leisurely stroll, or if you prefer, enjoy the sun and crystal-clear waters at the famous Antisamos Beach — well known as one of the filming locations for the movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. Alternatively (with prior arrangement), you can take a taxi to visit the island’s most iconic natural wonder, Melissani Lake. This magical underground lake is located inside a cave with two distinct chambers: one dark and filled with stalactites and stalagmites, and another sunlit chamber where the collapsed roof allows sunlight to illuminate the turquoise waters, creating a mesmerizing play of colors. Please note that visiting Melissani may take some time, as queues are often long.

Our next destination will be the cosmopolitan harbor village of Fiskardo, a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink or coffee while admiring the surroundings. With its pastel-colored houses, waterfront tavernas, and lively harbor, Fiskardo offers the perfect blend of natural charm and local culture.

After exploring Kefalonia, we’ll set sail for the legendary island of Ithaca. Known as the mythical home of Odysseus, Ithaca is a place of captivating natural beauty, with rugged coastlines, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal villages. Once there, we will visit Kioni — a peaceful fishing village that seems untouched by time. At the entrance of its bay stand three old windmills, and the village, built in the 16th century, has retained much of its original architecture. Along the picturesque harbor, you’ll find cozy cafes and tavernas, ideal for enjoying lunch, a coffee, or an ice cream.

Before heading back to Zakynthos, we’ll make one final stop for a swim at a secluded beach in Ithaca. Then, we’ll return to Zakynthos Town Port, bringing our unforgettable island-hopping adventure to a close.
